A: The access roads to the center of the 3 cantons of Los Santos are paved. Similarly, access roads to communities like San Gerardo de Dota, Copey de Dota, San Carlos de Tarrazú, or San Isidro de León Cortes are paved and in good condition, allowing the entry of any type of vehicle, including cars. If strictly required, four-wheel-drive (4x4) vehicles are recommended if you plan to visit the community of Providencia de Dota, La Pastora de Tarrazú, or if you wish to take the Quepos – Tarrazú route.
